Hi everyone,
I just completed my fifth liver flush. I got out quite a few stones with my fourth flush, but I am not sure what to make of this one. I've been taking livatone plus and malic acid nearly every day for a couple weeks. I didn't see a single stone when I flushed, but my next few bowel movements were a greenish color. Two days after the flush, after using the bathroom there was an OIL SLICK floating on the water. I mean, I looked into the toilet and I saw the rainbowy type of effect that you see when car oil spills. It really freaked me out and I am not sure what it was. Was it just undigested olive oil coming out? Or something else? What do you think? Was my flush successful in any way even though I didn't see any stones?

Your flush was very successful, as was your preparation! That's exactly what's supposed to happen - the stones should dissolve so much so that you get a kind of algea-like dreck flushed out instead of whole stones. That way you're not irritating your bile ducts at all.

Wow, that is good to hear! Further news, I had the oil slick again this morning, but it was through my urine. Is that normal? Because I thought it was supposed to come through the bowels...

That's not great but oh well too late now! But I doubt it really came through the urine, chances are you evacuated without knowing it because it was so minor? Just make sure to take in much less oil next flush. Use only a quarter cup - you only need a small amount when you do lots of preparation, and do an enema afterwards to get it out of you faster, or drink fennel tea.

So ever since this flush, the skin on my face has been pretty bad. My body acne has been really good though, hardly a spot. Very confusing. Does any of this make sense? Is my face dealing with toxins released during the last flush? Maybe I just need to flush again...

Healing crisis and yes, too many toxins still. The stones have shifted, there are some left, causing blockages and reactions. A lot of dreck ended up in your lymphs and bowels and didn't get OUT soon enough. when they stay there long enough, they get into the bloodstream and thus our skin.

So you have to deep cleanse your face (I'll be posting a deep-cleanse protocol in just a second in the Acne forum) and do a detox bath plus some fiber shakes and a colonic. That would be ideal but do whatever you can - it all helps. Also, emergen-c, cal/mag/zinc, lecithin and cleansing carrot salad will help your body get rid of the eruptions faster.

Next flush use less oil, more juice, more laxatives, and of course more prep and more post-flushing out.

Thanks for all the great advice. It's time for my next flush-should I do it or should I wait til my body is free of these toxins?

I have been using Livatone Plus, ACV, apples, carrots juice etc. Do fruits and vegetables scrub out this algae-like dreck that you speak of?

I just can't bring myself to do a flush.

the slow liver cleansing in the FAQ will get rid of it, yes. You have to do oils, you just don't have to do the huge 1/2 cup doses that the Hulda Clark protocol and others require.

Hey Laney... I personally think you should wait a little longer. I think that 3-4 weeks between flushes is good...

Just my opinion!
