the whole acid/alkaline debate is total complete bullshit. It really is. They are misusing the word acid for one thing. And the body maintains a strict pH balance in the blood no matter what you do. You can't mess with it. I think I have an article on it in the FAQ about it. I talk about it in a much different way that is based on scientific facts, such as taking calcium while cleansing becuase that helps the body shed toxins (some of whihc are acids, some of which are aldehydes, etc.) and contributes to our electrolytes and cellular pH if that has been compromised.

the school year hasn't started yet - I have the job, but they are on the traditional schedule, so I won't be actually teaching and earning until right after Labor Day. Until then I'm waittressing, which is really challenging physically, which is what I want for now. Smile

Currently I'm trying to get it straight what I want the book to BE about. My previous attempts were just too similar to nutrition books already out there. So rather than repeat what everyone else says about nutrition, I'm going to make the book interactive, such as listing the important points but urging readers to read other books and Google things for the why's while I focus on the what to do. Procedures more than theory, but enough theory to avoid harm and support the procedures.

Hmmm... now you mention it, I don't see the "Acid/Alkaline" article in there. maybe I didn't add it oops! LOL!
