Hello,
Well I've looked at all the heath food stores in my area and I can't find the Livatone plus, Planetary formulas, or Liv. 52. I did find Livatone, but I don;t tink tis is as strong/effective. Is there something I could do to combine with normal livatone to be as thorough in liver cleansing? I can't order online b/c I don't have a credit card and my parents are gone on a long trip to Europe, so I couldn't ask to borrow one of theirs. Thank you

Livatone is great in conjunction with the cleansing carrot salad, which is actually quite powerful. If you're eating my Protein Shake with Lecithin that is also quite good, as is the Cleansing Cocktail, as is apple cider/malic acid supplements. Just do as many of the options as possible and you'll do a lot for your liver! |

That's great news . Ok, just to let you know Shelley, I have been on cleansing diet for 2 months and drinking lots of water/teas etc. I've been drinking 2 cleansing drinks a day since the beginning, and now drink one nomal one/ one alternate one per day. Been doing potein shake with NYF/lecethin and Udo's 3 or 4 times a week since the beginning. Been using lots of EVOO and Spectrum Virgin Coconut oil as well. For colon cleansing, i've been on triphala (solaray) 3 capsules a day for a month and fo 2 weeks doing enemas and flax tea w/ cascara at night. For supps, been doing emergen-c, calmag, biotin, kelp, solaray mineral supp, iron and super geen supp trusting my ability to just read my body and "know" when to have them, while practicing kinesiology. Since last week Friday I've been doing stone dissolvers (green apple ever day, working on finishing a gallon of apple juice, and lecithin 3x a day) and plan to do first liver flush this friday (its kind of exciting!). So far, I am happy to report that my tendonitis in both my arms/wrists is virtually gone... which is great news because I'm a musician studying music in university. But still dealing with fatigue, brain fog, mild acne, tongue still has coating and somewhat of a deep crack in middle, and overall feeling of not being nearly at my best. So its getting there! I'll do Livatone. I just got a couple questions... (sorry for long post)
1) After liver flush is P&B shakes. Is it ok to substitute ground flax for the psyllium?
2) For Carrot cleansing salad, is it ok to use homemade balsamic vinaigrette instead of the ACV? I already get two tablespoons of ACV with cleansing drinks/ adding it to apple juice every day. I can't stand the pungent/tartness of the salad, it burns my throat. So, also, if I just swallow whole peices of raw garlic and onion along with the salad will they digest fine and have the same effect? Thanks so much for all your help.

Wow, you're really working it! good for you!
If you have a heavily coated tongue with a very wide, angry-looking crack down the center, I wouldn't do fiber-based cleansing. Your tongue is saying your intestines are coated, yes, but also irritated, so rebuild your intestines first with L-Glutamine. Read the Leaky Gut protocol as that may be a problem. Also do lots of spine stretching exercises and massages becasue a stiff spine will contribute to digestive disorders a great deal.
Yes you can use flax seeds, they're actually much gentler than psyllium and highly recommended to people as long as they don't have estrogen issues, which you don't. Flax seed tea is very gentle but try to calm down that crack a little bit before you start it.
Yes, you can use balsamic if you wish - you can also NOT drink a cleansing drink on the days you eat the cleansing carrot salad if you wish. |

Thanks, Shelley. It looks like I'll have to switch things up a bit, since I probably have a bit of leaky gut. I'll stop the fiber cleanse and start L-Glutamine right away. But I'd still like to go ahead with the liver flush this Friday, as I've been doing apple juice, apples, carrot juice, and therapeutic doses of Lecethin for a week. I'll skip the SWF the day after, and just do lost of enemas, exercise, and a detox bath in the following week. I think I'll still do the flax/bentonite shakes for two days after like reccomended, but I'll add slipper elm and marshmallow to make it more appropriate. Hopefully this is OK. I'm planning on taking some aloe vera juice after the flush also. When the tongue crack calms down, I'll resume the fiber cleanse and see what happens. Also, I'll soon be starting Candida diet. I have an issue with brainfog; often find it hard to concentrate and often am absent minded. I also deal with fatigue on a regular basis. I've only ever taken antibiotics a few times for a couple days and barely even touched alcohol in my life, but I ate LOTS of crap before all this. Would have saved time starting with candida diet, but I think changing from western diet to candida diet considering I barely knew how to cook anything would have made me insane. Makin' progress, but still a long way to go. Its quite a journey, and learning experience. But I know it will be one of the best investments I've ever made. Thank goodness for people like you!

Results of the flush:
At 6 and 8:30 the night of the flush took two doses of epsom salts. At about 11, took one dose of 1/2 cup OO and 3/4 cup grapefruit juice mixed. Felt fine. Haf hour later, took second dose. Felt nauseous, ate peppermint candies and drank peppermint tea. Massaged the liver for a bit, felt like it was draining, something was happening in there. Fell asleep, woke up around an hour and a half later, felt nauseous. Layed awake for about an hour, eating peppermint candies, fell back asleep. When I woke up 5 hrs later, I felt sick and vomited, but only a small amount of the oil/juice came up. Did a liquid bentonite enema, but no stones. Instead, a lot of red-orange-brown came out, wth some green muscousy stuff (looked like the oil). Maybe a few stones could come out later. Other than being a little tired, I feel fine. I'll do Flax/bentonite shakes if i start feeling worse. Another thing, last few days I've been cranky/depressed without knowing why, but now I feel at peace. The whole process was painless besides the nausea, and theres a feeling of relief like something that needed to be let out was finally released. So, I guess it was a success. 3 weeks till the next one.
