Hi

I am really needing to cleanse my liver but after having several viruses in a row feel to weak to do a liver flush. I have read the FAQ about liver flushing and would like to try and cleanse my liver and dissolve any stones if there are any. Does anyone know if I can dissolve stones and expel them without flushing? If I follow the guidelines in FAQ under "Comprehensive Liver Cleansing" can I follow those steps without flushing at the end? Does anyone have any advice as to how to go about it?

Many thanks, as always, from a scared vertigo and candida sufferer

Hi Zowie!

I'm new here but it is my understanding that the steps outlined in the "comprehensive liver cleansing" should be able to work as a substitute to a full fledge flush.

For stone dissolving, you can follow the steps in the "stone dissolver" section. Shelley suggests 2 options out of the list for best results. I find that the easiest ones are: drinking the gallon of organic apple juice (however long it takes); taking one tablespoon of Apple Cider Vinegar 3x daily and eating a green or red apple every day. There are other options outlined in that section.

Good luck and I hope you feel better! Very Happy

Hi redhead

Thanks for the clarification. Very nervous about doing this so want to make sure that I have everything absolutely clear in my mind before I start.

When you take the stone dissolvers, do you actually pass the dissolved stones in your BM? Is there a change in colour?

Sorry to be graphic, but just want to know what to look for.

Many many thanks

Hi Zowie!

I understand your being nervous. I am too which is why I'm sticking to the basics (for now anyway).

Today is my 4th day with the comprehensive liver cleansing. I haven't seen any stones in my BMs and I'm not sure if we're supposed to. I'm wondering if the stones are a "reward" reserved for those ready and willing to go through with a full fledge flush.

As for the color, it tends to be a little more on the orangey side of the brown spectrum but I suspect that this is caused by the Cayenne powder that I've been using (I don't have tincture so I use powder). I think I'm going to cut the dose again. I started with 1/8 tsp and have progressively been using a little less.

The cleanse must be working on some level with releasing toxins cuz I haven't been sick in 3 years and during the past 2 days, I've been fighting off the buds of sneezing, runny nose paired with congestion, etc.

Why are you in need of a cleanse? I'm doing it for acne on one side of my face (I'm 34 yrs old). You might wanna try some of the detox baths as well. I've read on other sites that you shouldn't have them more than once a week (at least not the one with the epsom salts and baking powder).

Sorry if I can't provide any real answers. I'm a novice as you are!

Do keep me posted on how you make out!

I was realy nervous about doing a liver cleanse, so I started out with Shelley's liver cleanse salad for 7 days in a row, not drastic, but at a pace I felt comfortable with. I feel it was the right way for me, as it was salad something I was used to eating and didn't have to use any stone dissolvers or anything, just eat the salad 7 days in a row, and worked my way up from there. It is a good option so you get an idea of how your body may react to a liver cleanse.

Good luck and rad through the fags to help you understand everything, Shelley was very thorough in the facts so they are easy to follow.

Can the gentle cleanse be done for a few weeks at a time if you do the 10 days of initial stone dissolving? I have done 2 weeks now and it is hard to tell if it's working. I am using the oil and cleansing drink every morning along with the GCG plus the malic acid/lethicin (I can't do the apple juice because of candida).

Is there an approximate time of how long it will take to see a difference?

Absolutely. That's a great way to go if you don't want to do enemas or major flushes. You'll start seeing results in as little as two weeks if you are consistent.
