Hi Shelley,
I was wondering what to make of this.. when I got up this morning I did my usual routine of drinking warm water and taking 1 TBS olive oil. Not long after that I got diarrea that had lots of yellow and still mucous in it. What is that? I am feeling very sluggish and tired today.. totaly unmotivated and out of energy. Not sure which way to proceed? Should I take Belier broth and carrot juice all day and clean out? I appreciate any help you could give.
Thanks!

| Last night I took my fiber shake (psylium) before bed and it seemed to give me cramps as it moved through me. I was awake off and on all night. I had salmon patties, cauliflower, peas and basmati rice for dinner. Maybe the salmon was too much? I had much better results with the flax but I am estrogen dominant and I think that is what messed up my last period and made it so hard. I was having increasingly better ones before I started using that. |

| I'd say that's a great sign that your liver and gallbladder and peristaltic action are now responding properly to oils! Keep reading - it's all in the fAQ about how to diagnose stools. Yellow means they moved faster, which is what you want when getting better. If you want them to slow down a bit then simply back off on anything that promotes bowel movements. It's not good to have mucus, but better out than in! That too should disappear after awhile of taking cod liver oil and after your intestines are completely clean and healed. |

I keep forgetting to ask..while in a mucous condition how often do I take cod liver oil and how much?
Should I continue on the broth and juice for a few days? It seemed to really help yesterday. Should I back off the liver herbs while fasting?
Thanks so much for all of your help and support Shelley! |

I actually am reading at least an hour every day. Have been for a month now, these are actually the questions I have to make sure I am understanding what the right way is to go in my situation. Hope thats ok? I just want to make sure I am going the right direction based on the circumstances I am facing. Thanks again so much Shelley for sharing your insights and opinions! I have been helped more in the month I have been on your site than the 6 months I was floundering on curezone. |

Cod liver oil should be taken as a spoonful every-other day until the bottle is gone regardless of what stage they are in. About six months later, buy another bottle. People who have taken Accutane may need much less.
As always, go by how you feel and how much mess you're willing to take on. You can keep taking liver herbs while fasting so long as you're getting at least a teaspoon of oil per day so the liver can flush a little. For instance, first thing in the morning, take a spoonful of oil in your juice along with some ginger and cayenne and garlic for a total cleanse. Then take your liver herb pills sometime in the evening to ensure a good healthy bowel movement the next morning.
So glad I could be of assistance! |
