It could be just the thing you need! It's one of the best ways to alkalinize the body as it doesn't neutralize stomach acids in the process.
If you're on a high-protein diet, eating meats and dairy again, it is especially important to give your body occasional doses of sodium bicarbinate (baking soda). You may want to reduce your other salt intakes when you do as a salt is a salt, although if your summer is as hot as ours chances are you need more salt in your diet.
Just one quarter cup or even one tablespoon will help your body shed acids. You'll feel the effect - warm water seems hotter. |

Shelley,
I remember another post about bathing with ACV as well, to get rid of excess acid in the body - does baking soda work in the same way?

I have been wondering about baking soda, I can't find pure sodium bicarbinate(Is this what im suposed to look for?) All i can find is a mix of sodium bicarbinate, corn or potato starch and some kind of acid. I don't like the fact that there is starch in there Should i look further for another brand? |

Baking soda works in a different way than apple cider vinegar, but the results are the same. If you've been drinking the Cleansing Drink, then it would best to do baking soda baths rather than ACV baths. It's more balanced that way. And if the Cleansing Drink is too harsh for you, then take a bath instead!
You can use the regular baking soda in the yellow box. They add a little bit of starch and acid to keep it from clumping, that's all. It's okay. |
