I got this recipe off a paleodiet recipe page. It's a nice bread sub, especially if you're a candida person, and really easy and quick to make.
6 T oil (I used 1/2 olive oil, 1/2 melted butter)
3 eggs
1 cup non-wheat flour or nut meal*
1/4 cup arrowroot
sea salt
Mix oil and eggs well. Add dry ingredients. The batter will be very sticky. Spread batter about 1/2in thick onto well-greased cookie sheet or in the bottom of a 9x13 glass dish. Bake at 325 for 15 minutes. Cool, cut into squares.
*the original recipe calls for ground pecan meal. I have made it with bob's redmill garbanzo/fava bean flour and with brown rice flour. I think any flour or ground nuts would work.
I've used it as a pizza crust too. |
