Hi Shelley and all

Can I just get this right? Gallbladder pain/attack is like a nasty stitch on the right side of the body, slightly higher than waist level, at the bottom of the ribs?

I've had a few twinges there today and then I had a nasty twinge just now. I took a tablespoon of Gold Coins Grass and 5 minutes later the pain has more or less gone.

I'm confused how I would have gallbladder pain now. I've completed 13 liver flushes (and didn't even have these sorts of pains before). Genrally, I take a couple of tablespoons of ACV every day, so wouldn't that stop any potential pain anyway?

I've been doing urine enemas amongst other things every 2-3 days. I think that, combined with cod liver oil and zinc have really made my skin heal so well, but I'm now wondering if this pain is due to the urine enemas?

Any input woiuld be great thanks!

I spoke too soon, the pain has returned. It's like a shooting pain.
Anything I can do?

Edit - Just looked on CZ and someone wrote that people can take 1 tbs of ES plus some grapefruit juice. Just done that.

I'm wondering if this is a sign I should do a liver flush tonight???

(I ate a fatty meal at 11am, and haven't eaten since. I've had a couple of packets of emergen-C, gotu kola and a few other supplements. Also cod liver oil at 7am this morning.)

Hi Invinc Very Happy ,
I don't know what could be causing the pain though some guesses would be that it's congestion/stones or a detox effect, maybe from the urine? I'd probably do a castor oil pack to see if that helped.
Hope you feel better soon Smile

Hi Anne

Still in pain! Ouch! I'll see if Shelley thinks I should flush tonight or not ... but I'm definately going to take a hot bath now and follow up with a castor oil pack.

DO NOT FLUSH! The Epsom salts remedy is the best one, altho plain water would be better than citrus.

GCG often causes as much pain as it relieves if it is indeed the gallbladder having issues, because it causes the gallbladder to contract, and sometimes the pain has nothing to do with stones and everything to do with things contracting and spasming. For it to relieve pain, if it can, it usually takes about 2-3 tablespoons worth.

If you have stone-induced pain, the pain is not just in your side, it radiates up into the upper arms, shoulders and shoulder blades.

Don't ever flush when there is pain, unless your stools are totally pale. Heat (heating pad, castor oil pack, hot compress, bath) and massage and Epsom salts is the best way to go, plus fasting and drinking Peppermint tea - unless you've BEEN drinking a lot. A lot of peppermint tea can cause pain after it's done its cleansing action and you get down to depletion.

13 flushes are a lot of flushes! flushes are irritating. I don't recommend tons and tons of flushes. Stop flushing for six months to a year.

Thanks Shelley!

Just got out of my ES bath.

I have had a lot of ache type pains in my right shoulder area (and also the centre of the sole of my left foot .. not sure if that is related) in the last couple of days. Also neck pain. It's still there now.

I normally drink 2-3 mugs of peppermint tea a day. Is that too much?

My flushes have mainly been spaced monthy, a few at the beginning were spaced every 2 weeks. I thought I was meant to keep flushing until all stones were gone. Won't the stones I still have cause me problems if I stop now? It was only flush 10 and 13 where I produced decent amount of stones .. I thought that maybe I am on the way to expel older stones at the back?

I was considering maybe just doing 4 flushes a year - I before and after each equinox. I guess that would be enough.

Should I still take Chinese Bitters and GCG every now and again .. or should I put those away fro flush times only?

What type of a fast do you recommend? The pain was quite bad, I don't want that to happen again. If I'm fasting, should I also do daily enemas/colemas and take fibre?

Thanks for all your advice Shelley!

Yep, that would be related. It helps to have a foot roller and roll the soles of the feet on it. I keep one in the bathroom and use it when I'm on the toilet. Smile

It could be, back off for awhile.

We women don't usually have tons and tons of stones unless we really did some amazing eating. Wink Do comprehensive liver cleansing, not just flushing. Stones can be dissolved rather than flushed. If you don't have major acne on the forehead or major allergies, then frequent flushing probably isn't needed, just the 2-4x a year maintenance flushing.

Depends on your symptoms.

Liquid diet mainly, preferably all warm drinks apart from the protein shake. Broths, herbal teas, warm water, chai, spiced hot milk. Kichadi should be fine.

Thanks so much Shelley!

No, my acne is mainly under control and never was a real problem on the forehead. Acne is mainly digestion based I think - around cheek area .. again, it is much better now.

I have a foot roller! Going to get it out Very Happy

I DID do some amazing eating when I was younger, also, I have had binge eating issues most of my life. Fortunately, I never became seriously overweight because I was always into some form of exercise and must have had a high metabolism. I used to eat 20 dougnuts in one sitting (and still able to eat all other meals!) My mum reminds me often about how I would eat 3 huge bowls of spaghetti bolognese in one sitting an follow up with slices of cake.

My eating is much better now - I can only manage 5 doughnuts if I binge eat now!

OK, just to clarify (pain gives me brain fog) ...
I should have herbal teas, protein shake, bone broth and kidachi for a few days.

Should I add daily enema/colonix/oxy powder?
Are vege juices OK?

(BTW, I'm ready to do my 1st MAP session on Monday. I've read the book twice and made notes. I've got Rescue remedy handy and have sent off for the ETS.)

Protein shake might be too rich, try it without oil and see how you do.

Kichadi, veggie juices, herbal teas, hot simmered milk all okay - see how you do.

Minimal bowel management, we want the spasms to stop. Fiber and very mild laxatives might help, might not. It would be interesting to see if an Epsom salt enema helps, but if you've already drunk some you shouldn't need to do an enema too.
