Hi Shelley,
I had a wonderful day at a famous spiritualist healing center in Surrey, UK on Saturday.
The healer who worked with me picked up something about my pineal gland and suggested I look into it. This resonated with me as I've got a pretty constant weird feeling in my third eye area and having CFS it seems important.
What can I do to regulate my pineal?
Blessings,
Dean |

| the pineal gland is what regulates melatonin, which is essential for deep sleep and healthy rem sleep. Best way to regulate and balance the pineal gland is to do sungazing at dawn. Before the sun actually rises, when it's just the rays, gaze at it best you can for as long as you can without damaging your eyes. Then be sure to go to sleep no more than 2-3 hours after dark and awaken as close to dawn as possible. Some yogis say that you should do this three days in a row, but when I traveled a lot I found that just doing it the first morning in a new country would take care of my clock and cure jet lag. |

Sungazing! Isn't it amazing how Universe leads One to these things. This has come into my awareness a few times over the past year or so as something worth doing.
Snag! I'm in the UK where we don't really get very much of the sunny stuff. Do you have a spare room in sunny California?!?
Blessings,

| Ah, you poor UKers!!! You all really need to invest in at least one full-spectrum light. Get the long tube kind, they work the best. It's amazing what a difference they'll make to one's health! |

Whilst having my breakfast this morning I thought perhaps a full spectrum light buld would do the job. As it happens I've a few about the house I can use.
Thinking about it my pal has a lightbox for his SAD which he may let me borrow.
As for the getting up early and going to bed early I'm on the case with that one as I'm usually up at 6 for meditation and Qigong and in bed by 9:30. Nothing else to do when you've given up the party life! |
