Thanks glein, you are definitely right.
I am doing my first flush tonight, and I am oh so nervous! I don't want to puke...and I really want it to work! I am afraid of the salt water flush tomorrow as well! I AM going to kick acne where it counts though...I will let you all know how it goes... |

Good luck, Laney! You'll be fine. Try to relax. Ginger tea helps a lot with the nausea. It keeps me from puking. Put a cup or two of it next to your bed and take small sips if you feel the nausea coming on. Otherwise, just breathe on through it.
I'm sure you'll let us know how it goes! |

I really don't care that much about the acne on my face...I can live with that...it's just the acne on my back and chest that embarrass me. Very few people actually know about it because it is covered all winter, and then in summer it is fine. I read somewhere that acne on other places of the body means toxins are trapped in the reproductive system. Is this true, and if so, how on earth do I get rid of that??
Sorry for my venting...I guess I am just feeling a little discouraged. Please tell me this is the answer! |
Cleansing your liver should definately help... if done correctly
My chest and back reallllly break out with cysts and a bunch of other fun stuff whenever I'm low on good bacteria. It always happens when I party too much. I need to find balance!! |

Hey guys, thanks for your encouragement! I did the flush, and much to my amazement, I did get some stones!!! Only about 15 pea sized ones and many smaller ones, but I still felt a huge sense of accomplishment!
I had no trouble drinking the OO and grapefruit juice mixture. I was expecting it to be horrid so I downed it in a few seconds, but it really wasn't bad at all! I mixed it up really well by shaking it up in my nalgene, and when I drank it, I didn't taste any of the oil. It tasted sort of like thick grapefruit juice, and I really like grapefruit juice anyway, so that was fine! I sucked a few peppermints just in case and went to sleep. When I woke up this morning I tried to do a salt water flush, which wow, was quite another experience! I was only able to down about half the mixture because the taste was so absolutely horrible. I will never do that again. I think I am an enema girl from here on! So anyway, a little later, I released a little "butt pee" but no stones. Then after my classes this morning I decided to do an enema. If you remember from the beginning of my journal, all I have up until this point is a little bitty 8 oz enema bag because I bought the wrong one and haven't been able to find a big one (except online! Is this where I should get it?) So I refilled my little 8 ouncer a few times until I had over a liter inside, and when I released, I got a bunch of grossness and some stones! It was highly encouraging to say the least...even though there were so few. I think I will do another enema either tomorrow or the next day. What should I do to get more stones next time? A big enema bag, obviously, but should I take GCG to break up the stones? I was taking ACV, drinking apple juice, and eating a green apple every day for two weeks. Was that not enough? I want to get serious and get those nasty little stones out.
Thanks for all your wisdom and advice. It is incredibly valuable to me. I finally have hope that I am going to be rid of acne once and for all. You guys are fabulous. |

Hey! It's great that you got stones out! I think you should definitely do another enema or two to make sure that they're all out.
GCG should help you get more stones with each flush. It's very powerful stuff. So if you're can afford it, I'd say go for it. |

Hi Laney. Yay! Sounds like a good flush.
One thing you can do instead of the SWF if buy a bottle magnesium citrate from the laxative section in any drugstore. Take the whole bottle (which is the normal dosage anyway). It's horrible stuff in terms of ingredients, but MUCH easier to down than the SWF. I like to do something to flush it from "above", as well as an enema. The one time I did enema only, I didn't see any stones come out. I had to go get a colonic before I saw any stones. Just my experience.
Congrats on the flush... |

Ugh, I cheated quite a bit with my diet this weekend (Easter weekend). I went home and my mom put just about all my biggest temptations before me. I guess I felt like I deserved a treat since it was Easter or something. It definitely showed in my skin too. I am sort of weighing the possibility that I may have Candida as well. I noticed one week when I ate yogurt every day that I had great skin. I was on antibiotics for a few years as a baby and then again as a teenager, so my chances are pretty high. I guess I will be going the grapefruitseed extract route followed by plenty of probiotics.
Second liver flush this weekend! I am quite excited. One thought though...should I take two doses of the OO/Grapefruit juice mixture, like Shelley has in the faq? I had no problem with one dose, I think I could handle two fine. Will this help get more stones? |

Hey Laney,
I am flushing this weekend too. I do what Shelley does. I make up the second dose when I make the first one, and if I feel like I can handle it, I take it, or part of it. If I feel nauseous, I don't. |

I'm flushing this weekend, too! Well, on Sunday night.
I've never two doses... I think I might try it this time, too. I'll let you know if I get out more stones than normal. |

Hey Laney,
How'd your flush go?
I did two doses this time -- one was 1/2 cup oil and 3/4 cup juice, and the second was just 1/4 cup oil and 1/2 cup juice. I got out fewer stones than normal -- probably under 20 decent sized ones. And I even did more stone dissolving this time. But I did get out lots of tiny pieces of stones and other junk. Anyway, I think I'll be sticking to one dose from now on. I felt really awful the morning after... |

Hi Kaleidescope,
I am actually feeling pretty discouraged right now because my flush didn't go well. I actually did two doses too...but I can't imagine that taking two doses would cause there to be less stones, would it? In preparation I drank apple juice for 14 days and ate green apples for 5. Should I have done more than this? Anyway, I only got out about 10 pea sized stones and a bunch of smaller ones. I had a really small amount of stones last time too, but I know my liver is very clogged, so I am a little discouraged. What can I do to get more out? I want to start getting 100's....I did two enemas already today. I wasn't able to do the first one until 1:00...could that have something to do with it? Should I do it first thing in the morning? |

Oh no, definitely not.

I think you did do plenty, but Gold Coin Grass should help you get out more. On the other hand, some people will never release hundreds on one flush. There's not much you can do about it besides plenty of stone dissolving/softening.

You should try to do an enema right in the morning (I'm assuming you don't use a lot of Epsom salts?), but only because you need to get the stones/toxins out ASAP. Doing it later won't affect how many stones you get out. |

| Oh gosh, I don't want to hear that there is a possibility I will never get hundreds out...I have to! I have been a little more discouraged than usual lately because my roommate got engaged the other day....and I guess I am a bit jealous. I have a wonderful serious boyfriend but I refuse to get married until at least the acne on my back and chest is gone. Back to the topic at hand, no, I don't use epsom salts. I don't really have a reason not to, I suppose. Do people have better results with the epsom salts? Oh, I forgot to mention earlier that I did get out a bunch of tannish chaffy stuff...I don't know, maybe this was just as important to get out? Thanks again for all your great advice and wisdom. I appreciate it more than you know. |

Hi Laney,
Don't be discouraged! At least you are getting stuff out! I have done 4 flushes, and have probably gotten out around 100 stones TOTAL. Chaffy stuff is good too.
I usually do my enema/colema in the afternoon. When I do it right away in the morning, I don't get anything. It seems I have to wait until later in the day for the stones to release down. Everyone will be different, I suppose. But the time you do the enema shouldn't affect how many stones are released initially.
I think you should feel good about your flush. |

Yes, I think so. It should help get more stones because it relaxes the bile ducts so that the stones pass more easily. You should take 2 or 3 teaspoons of Epsom salts, 2 hours before taking the oil/juice. Between that and GCG (if you can get it) you should have more successful flushes. |
