Hi there,

I have been looking at this page for a while and he information on it fascinates me. I am a Mixed martial arts fighter, that formally played semi pro hockey that has always had issues gaining mass. I am wondering if anyone on this board has any info on how to gain weight the right way. I have tried the creatines and Nitric Oxide Supps but they have left me with nothing but a burnt wallet and gas!! I think I have Candida from years of Antibiotics (not to meantion accutane) for acne and think this may be the cause of my inability to gain weight. (This is the main reason I had to give up hockey as no one wants a 6 foot 140 pound defensman) I need to gain weight fast so my main question is can I gain weight while fighting Candida or is it impossible. ? Any advice would be great.

P.S sorry for the long post and thanks to anyone who replys.

You don't need to apologize for the length of the post, and actually is not long at all. Very Happy Feel free to write how long you want.

Have you seen the recipe for Shelley's protein drink? It is in FAQ under the recipes section.

It takes a lot of shopping and preparation of foods, but yes you can maintain and gain weight while fighting candida. The secret is to eat lots and lots of wonderful, virgin coconut oil, olive oil, and use nutritional oils in my protein shake. That is of course in addition to soups, salads, quinoa pasta, freshly-squeezed juices, Kefir smoothies, Kichadi, eggs, and lots and lots of natural, hormone-free meats! Very Happy
