Hi,
I have two questions actually:
1) Been doing Shelley's regimen for the morning oil cocktail now for just over 1 week. I found malic acid tablets and began taking 1600 mg a day. After about 4 days, I started having stomach pain (like all over) and feeling very gassy. I was even taking it with meals. When I stop taking the malic acid, it goes away. When I start again, it starts up again. So, I lowered the dosage to just 400 mg a day and have kept up with the cleansing drink 2x a day, lecithin, carrot juice, nut. yeast, lots of apples. Feeling fine now. Could the acid just be wreaking havoc on my stomach?
2) How important is it to get a TB of ginger juice in the oil? I can't seem to squeeze that much juice out of the ginger root. I am using at least an inch in the press, but am getting mostly chunks out (as if it were a garlic clove). Is that just as good, or would it be better to use a blender for this? If so, could I blend the potion up at night, and let it sit in the fridge, then take 1st thing in the morning?
As a side note, so far everything seems fine on this regimen, but I am not noticing any differences. Only my second morning on the oil cocktail, maybe it takes more time to notice anything.
Thanks! |
