Haha... yeah. I was a mess - and still recovering. If you are going to get your own colema setup make sure you use filtered water, and you sterilize whatever equipment you use. I got a nasty parasite because I didn't completely sterilize my enema after each use. So don't forget!

It's also important to replenish the good bacteria after a series of enemas/colemas/colonics. If your microbes get out of whack, lots of things can go wrong (parasites and acne for me!). So I'd recommend picking up Udo's Super 8 probiotic. Kefir, yogurt, fermented veggies will help too.

Best wishes.

Yep, I buy filtered water to drink, so I certainly wouldn't put anything else up the other end Very Happy . I'm going to get a 5-gallon jug to designate for colemas. Acidophilus -- kefir, yogurt and kimchee are pretty much daily staples of my diet.

Thanks for the sterilizing tip... I know that's something I could easily get lazy about!

How is the cleansing going now??

hop, maybe you should consider cleansing your bowels some more. I have no idea about how much you have dont there, but I know that constant liver flushing releases many toxins into the GI track that can irritate it, and possible form muccus. Colonics do very little to get nast junk off your intestinal walls, especially in your small intestine... So maybe thats where the problem lies. I know its so hard to know though, so much advice, so much info... Hang in there though, Me and many otheres are in the same situation, and I know tons of people have made it past this step. So dont let it get you down.

Thanks for the tip oahu (wish I was there!). Things seemed to have returned to normal, but i'll def. keep that in mind if problems persist.
