Hi everyone!
So, last night was liver flush #9, and it was pretty hard. I did the hulda clark version, epsom salts and all. With each flush the ES as well as the OO/GF mixtures seem more and more difficult to get down. Though I found that holding my nose while gulping the oil/juice mixture did help.
I took the oil/juice mixture at 11pm, slept, woke up nauseous at 6am with diarrhea, went back to sleep, woke up at 8am, took an ES dose at 8:30am, and then was very nauseous and vomited at 9am. Woohoo! The odd thing is that I was throwing up some oil from the night before. Isn't that strange?
I have done one before where I just used magnesium citrate capsules and it didn't seem as effective. I had hoped to do another one next month, but I'm not sure if I can go through with it. Even if I use mag cit instead of the ES, my body seems to have a hard time processing the oil/juice mixture.
Any thoughts on my experience? Thank you and happy new year!
Blessings,
Shawna |

Hey,
I can't really offer any help with the nausea/vomiting... I've never done a flush before.
Perhaps for your next flush, you should try just taking one dose of Epsom salts? Like 1 tablespoon two hours before the oil?
You say that your flush without ES was not as successful... I wonder if this might have something to do with that:
Shelley said, "Julia Chang says that an Epsom salts flush will cause a kind of stone formation that you can tell is fake by feel because it's not as waxy but may mistake for a stone by sight"
So maybe when you use so much ES, you are seeing a lot of "stones" that aren't stones at all. Just a thought, I could be totally wrong!
Do you notice any improvements in symptoms after liver flushes? |

Excuse me for butting in here, but don't you have leaky gut? Shelley said not to LF then because it's too hard on the intestines. I'll see if I can find the post. I think maybe it was a post to hoppy (?) Anyway, it might give you an excuse to take a break from flushing!

Thank you both for your input!
Agnes, I did a 3 month protocol to help with the leaky gut and thought it was somewhat under control. Perhaps I am still a bit weak in that sense. I don't know.
I do think that the epsom salts are a bit of a bugger for me. I think I might just cut down on them next time.
