you should know:

1. General anatomy/phsiology, enough to understand digestion and elimination , and the lymphatic system. Some of this info is in my Yahoo group, or you can Google it, and read the FAQ.

2. The Healing Crisis or Herxheimer Effect - what it is, what it signifies, how to mitigate it without stopping the healing process, and guidelines for self-dosing. In the FAQ under cleansing basics.

3. Which products are solid, which are bunk and how to tell the difference. In the Products forum.

4. Kinesiology . It helps to have a partner who can help you with kinesiology so you can muscle-test every food/supplement and see if it really is appropriate for your body. Some people scry with a pendulum and that can work great. In the FAQ - or will be soon.

5. Bowel Management - it's first, foremost, and runs concurrently with any and all cleansing. If you keep your colon as flushed clean as possible for a month, you will have indirectly cleansed every cell in your body. FAQ.

6. Liver Management - the liver is our filter. Until we cleanse our body's filter we'll just keep re-circulating poisons. FAQ and Sources forum and Cleansing Forum.

7. Lymph Management - the lymphatic system relies on the bowel and sweat for exiting toxins, and physical activity for circulation. FAQ.

8. Water & Electrolytes, pH balance, how to be more alkaline than acidic in a balanced fashion. FAQ & Sources forum.

Hi shelley,

Some friends and I have ordered Colonix and are awaiting its arrival.
Before we start, I would like to know if there could be a concern about
wiping out any good flora in the intestines along with the bad doing a cleanse, and if there should be extra care in replenishing it if it is indeed wiped out?

thank you!! You have a great website/forum!

It's always a good idea to supplement with a good probiotic/kefir/fermented food after a cleanse... try to find a good formula that contain HUMAN derived strains (they are said to implant much much better). If you are taking the Paranil, you should definately replenish your flora. Those anti-parasitic herbs kill everything unfortunately.

Best wishes
