I am making whole grain cereal and it keeps sticking to my pan. What am I doing wrong?
I bring water to a boil, add grains, return to boil then simmer 15 minutes.

Hey there Kate
What kind of pan are you using> What grains?

Oatmeal sticks for me too Crying or Very sad
But I do a mixed grain one that instructions sound simular to what you are doing, but I lower temp to around medium and stir stir throughout the entire time practically, kind of boring so a try to do something else in the kitchen at the same time.

I cook mine in a heavy bottomed stainless steel pan. That one works best for me.

Then when still quit wet I remove it from the heat and let it thicken a bit.
Kind of trial and error.
