Hi Shelly again
Can you tell me what the connention MCS has to do with Candida?
Since I have started the Candida diet my sensitivities have become extreme..is there a way to alleviate them, or will they lessen once the Candida is more under control.Does this also mean that leaky gut is involved?
I also have Autoimmune Thyroiditis and have never been able to take thyroid meds( horrific experience), have travelled down the path of the Adrenals too, which I'm sure have been compromised with my thyroid condition and stress, I take licorice tea for them.
So now I'm looking at the Candida issue to see wether that will help, which I'm sure has been more of an issue than the Thyroid. I dont have the usual symptoms of low thyroid but I do have lots of Candida symptoms. What do you think of the connection ot Autoimmune Thyroiditis and Candida?
Many thanks for your help. |

Hi Dawnie!
Actually, the connection between things like Hashimotos/autoimmune thyroiditis, candida and MCS is usually mercury toxicity! or arsenic or lead. Do you have a lot of silver fillings? been drinking tap water? eating lots of fish?
thyroid issues can exacerbate candida issues because when the thyroid is wonky all of digestion and assimilation is compromised. When your body temperature is constantly below par, that gives certain pathogenic microbes a chance to proliferate.
Candida causes MCS because of how it stresses the entire immune system, bowels, lymphs, and liver. You get to the point where everything bothers you because the paths of elimination are already so toxic and overwhelmed. |
