Awww, thanks for the loving words of support, everyone! You don't need to worry about me, I really don't let such things bother me, in fact, I don't see any need to to even feel any kind of bother. At most I feel sad that so many people's discernment is so lacking, and the harm this will cause them over time.
And really, like I said, overall they're having a very fair and constructive argument over the matter of amateurs versus professionals, altho I do wonder when we as a culture started giving so much more credence to professionals than amateurs.
The word "Amateur" comes from the root "to Love." Amour. To do something because you love it. Not every professional loves what they do, which has ramifications on their professionalism and effectiveness. I'd take a passionate amateur over a credentialed, award-winning professional any day in any profession!

I guess one of the fruits of being POPULAR is a puny detraction. Strawberry just needs to CHILL OUT =)
anyway i almost wanted to cry realizing that at the end of the day, we all know that you shelley have helped lots of people open up and redefine the word healthy.
keep on helping and WE will continue to give back the favor that you have started. you are a gift! |

One critic whose main point of contention is no medical degree?
Perhaps this individual missed the entire point that there are options available to us all, and not everyone is so inclined as to follow only one choice.
I am terribly sorry I missed this post originally in July. The responding individual there seems to be quite balanced and supportive of people seeking out alternatives and was also very honest in pointing out several key facts to the individual Strawberry.
I believe the voices here and those that posted tidbits there speak clearly.
Shelley has always encouraged everyone to take control and responsibility of their own health.
I for one need not to understand what drives some to do what they do. I feel it is a waste of my precious time, and only allows me to experience their negativity which is a definite unhealthy choice. |

Hey D-Guts ,
I LOVE that quote:
"Inch by Inch - Makes life a Cinch!
Yard by Yard - Makes life hard."
- Simple & has helped me think clearly through some tough times!
...as far as medical doctors' interests...as of late (and prior to be honest!)
They do not even seem to be up on the latest research in their fields.
- and are SO GOOD at enriching those "vulture capitalist" pharmacutical companies. -(kudos to George Galloway -stole his term there;)
- We need to keep th Rx's on their toes. |

This is a good one Lisa I'll print it out and put it on a wall and read it every time that I get upset about what other people are saying
