| Hello Shelley! After a long winter break and 3 liver flushes I am heading back to school so I bought a bottle of the Bulpeurum Liver Cleanse to give it a final cleanse w/o flushing. Would this also help rebuild the liver? Also, the bottle doesn't say when to take it (meals, empty stomach?) One more thing, should I follow the recommended dosage of 2 tablets a day or should I increase over time? Thanks! |

Hiya Hoppy! Always nice to hear from you.
You can take it with or without meals. It's best taken just prior to a meal with fats, because the fats will enhance the action of the herbs. It has milk thistle, and that is known to repair the liver and encourage the growth of new liver cells.
2 pills once a day is good to start with. If you don't have any healing crisis symptoms such as a mild headache, go ahead and take another dose of 2 pills a second time a day. You can probably take up to 6 pills a day safely, but move up to that slowly so you don't inadvertently bring on a migraine or nausea.
Be sure to take in a bit of oil in the morning so the gallbladder doesn't form new stones and to aid thea ction of the herbs. If you're taking cod liver oil like I recommend to people, a teaspoon of that is all you need. |
