|
|
| Hello everyone, I have recently began to experience symptoms of Carpal Tunnel. I was wondering if you knew of any teas or rubs I could use to help heal it or bring down the inflamation in it so it can heal. I heard of rubbing almond oil over the wrist to help it, but I don't know why that would help. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thank you all. |

Hi Lumas
Welcome to the forum. Nice to meet you.
I have read in several studies that many CTS patients have been found to be deficient in B6.
You could try supplementing with a mid range dose for your size for a couple weeks and see if you feel and change.
Also Holistic practitioners often seem to recommend Massage treatment for the neck and shoulders. (that's a nice one. )
Some have found relief with acupuncture and acupressure massage too.
Good luck.

Hi Lumas
Sorry to hear about your CTS - its really nasty the burning sensation at night. I had it a couple of years ago and my GP put me straight down for surgery. I can't remember which web sights I got all my info from but I cured it within 2 months.
Try and get a hand splint to wear whenever posssible they really do help.
Take a good b complex
Take a high b6 morning and ningt
Try and find some arnica cream and massage lightly at night
Also homeopathic arnica
I also bouhgt a healing machine where you place pads on both sides of the wrist and it sends healing messages
If I think of anything else I'll let you know.
Try to rest your hand and dont put pressure on your palm especially the steering wheel when driving and try not to use a mouse too often
The link for the healing machine is below - my husband also uses it on his knee when it starts playing up

Hope this is of help because I know how painful it can be.
Take care
