purple and white skin

Hi,

this is my first time here on this sight so I dont know if I am posting this question in the right spot but anyways, for some reason my legs, feet and hands are kinda purple and white looking. Its kinda hard to explain. My doctor says its nothing but I still wonder why it looks this way. Its almost like its blotchy all over the place. I was wondering if anyone has heard of this.

Can you upload a picture and link to it? Or describe it better, like, is the purple on the surface or does it seem to be below the skin, like a bruise? Is it more like a shadow, or darker pigmentation?
