Hi Shelley,
I am new to this website and read a lot about you at curezone.com. It must be tough replying to all the querries you receive everyday but I am just hoping I get a reply for my post here.
Started getting face acne about 1.5 years ago and has only gotten worse. It took me 3-4 months to bring things under control the first time I broke out about a year and half ago. I tried a lot of things (Mild Chemical peels and many OTC topicals except Retin A, antibiotics) nothing really helped except the website Acne.org. I followed Dan's routine and held on to my patience and finally things got better. I was taking multivitamins too at the same time. So I was just on cleanser (Purpose soap bar)Benzoyl peroxide (2.5%) and multivitamins, multiminerals, Zinc, CoQ and such supplements along with vegetarian diet. Bread and milk I never stopped although went organic.
I got another fit of breakout 3 months later when I had reverted to my normal eating ... chicken, protein shakes, working out and my sleep has been poor too so may be all these came together to bring acne back. Anyways I was kind of clear on my shoulders, neck, back and chest ...there wasn't much activity there but this time I have it everywhere. Face is little better since I started using Bentonite clay mask everynight but I have been doing lot of other things as well internally. Like I started taking homepathic medicine from India about 4-5 months ago...don't think it helped ..may be just caused acne on my chest and everywhere else.
I have not taken any antibiotics since last year and that was for 2 months or so. I got my liver and Kidney profile done in Jan when I just got better from the first breakout and kidney profile came out absolutely fine and Liver too was fine with Bilirubin 1.1 (limit 1.2). I got another liver profile done recently (1 month ago) and I have been taking parasite cleanse (clarkia), and have been eating mostly veg and lot of raw veggies. When I went for the blood work last time I was 2 days into my master cleanse and that does elevate bilirubin level as I found out later but mine has come out to be as high as 2.4 which can't just be from fasting. I have done two liver flushes after this test with 15-20 green floating things each time. I have been taking the sensiblehealth tinctures too for almost 2 months now. That did help my sleep but since my last Liver flush my sleep is getting bad again and urine seems to be not as clear...eyes look tired but not really yellow as they should if I have high bilirubin. I drink plenty of water and keep myself at around 63%. I have also been taking flax oil regularly (more or less) 2 TBS everyday with dinner. I have started taking detox baths as well with epsom salts for about a week now almost everyother day.
I am not aware if I have candida or anything else that I need to take care of. I have also had 2 colonics done ..first 3weeks post first liver flush and second onw week after second liver flush.
Based on this information can you please advise what else can I do or should not do to get rid of acne and improve my sleep?
I also read about Natural Cellular Defense and have ordered that as well.
Thank you

I'd need to know exactly what kind of acne you have and where. For instance, tiny little red bumps all over the face, or large pus-filled bumps mostly on the forehead? Hive-like bumps on the back and chest?
First off, Acne people shouldn't be taking Flax Seed Oil or do the Master Cleanse. The MC is much too simple-sugar-rich for acne people. It doesn't give them the Skin Food they need. Read up on the Vital Cleanse on this site (sticky post in one of the forums) and the FAQ and you'll find better options. |

| But in your FAQs for acne it says to consume flax oil "NEVER eat deep-fried food. Use only a minimum of oils in your cooking, and try to add them afterwards so they don't cook at all. Use good EFA oils such as flax, coconut, etc. " |
