I'm a 32 year old male, and I feel relatively healthy. Haven't been sick in years, rarely, if ever, catch a cold. I feel great, actually!

But...I'm noticing I get random gray hairs in my nose at times, some on a few moles on my body, and of course scattered across my temples. Also a few stray gray hairs in my beard and such.

I know gray hair is all a part of getting older, but something tells me I'm graying just a little prematurely.

Any insights as to what could be causing this?

Oh yes, lots. It could be low iron, but very often gray hairs are due to lack of calcium! Low copper can also be a culprit. If both calcium and copper are low then your veins are in danger of being very weak and causing hemorrhagic types of vascular disease. Analyze your diet for whichever seems to be the most likely suspect.

I advise all men to give blood at least once a year if you haven't accidentally shed blood that year. If you never bleed like we women do, you can end up with "tired blood syndrome." Your red blood cells become less vital, the overworked liver doesn't clean out the dead and dying ones quick enough.

Would you recommend supplementing calcium or only getting it through diet?
