Ok.. starch and complex carbs are a no-no for my guts.

I belive that I would get diagnosed with IBD or crohns if i would get a diagnose from doc. I have read again and again about people with these disorders and that they can handle fruits well but complex carbs cause problems. And that paleo style or SCD diet or low carb diet works very well with these diseases.

Things like cooked apples or half a grapefruit does not cause discomfort/gas/bloating or any signs of bad fermentation.

Is that a sign that the sugars are feeding ME and not the baddies? And that it is ok to use some fruits/Fruit juices with meals to get my carbs upp a bit? Since I need carbs to prevent ketosis and feeling totally down.

Go by what your body tells you. I mix cooked fruits with my meals all the time, I only eat raw fruits alone. Once cooked, the fructose is broken down and doesn't ferment.
