I simmered up some chard last night with some shitaki mushrooms. The objective was to scoop out the veggies and serve over a little pasta with some cubes of organic feta & a little olive oil.
Well, good thing I tasted the cooking water at the bottom of that pan -- it was *delicious*!!!
I'm going to simmer up some more hefty green leaves tonight!

| Oh good you posted about that - I forget to mention what a wonderful broth mushies make. I'm not a huge fan of mushies, they're like the one food I just didn't take too. I like shitake and straw mushies okay, but regular ones... just don't taste right somehow. |
