Hi Shelley/everyone Smile

I did a flax oil enema this morning (supposed to help get out heavy metals). I did it about 10am (250ml of pure flax with a bit of warm water to heat it up). Lay down for 10 mins and held it in most of the day apart from a little oil coming out when I went to the loo. Even went to the shops for an hour.

Did get acid indigestion a few times during the day though so perhaps I used too much oil, what do you think Shelley? I was told to use 250mls by one of the tutors on my nutrition course.

Anyway, about 1/2 hour ago (6 hrs after the enema) I thought I was going to pass some wind....except it wasn't wind.......instead a LOT of very smelly oil (sorry folks!) decided to exit as I'm sitting at my computer!! Surprised Luckily, I stood up straight away and got to the bathroom though with a lot of stained clothes (I had three layers on!!!) Oh dear.....well I'm glad it didn't happen when I was at the shops, that could have been tricky lol Laughing

So just a warning for anyone who is going to do this, apparently very good for you but I'd advise wearing a nappy and preferably stay in all day Wink

Oh my!

Like I said, I hadn't heard of oil enemas being good for metals. Can't see why that would be so, I'd only heard of them being used for constipation, and then only about one cup at most is used, and usually just 1/2 cup mixed with water. Not sure what that is in ML I'm terrible at converting heh. Smile

I think it's because metals are supposed to come out with fats, because they are attracted to them in the first place, like the way they are stored in fatty tissue eg the brain and gland tissue. Does that make sense?

yes and no. Fats when they have Vit A are anti-oxidants and help move metals about and end up storing metals, but see, we don't have a lot of metals in our colon waiting for exit unless we've recently digested them, or chelated and liver flushed. Metals deposit themselves within 36 hours of our being exposed to them.

So unless they've exited the body within 36 hrs of ingestion, with the help of anti-oxidants, they'll deposit themselves wherever, eg glands, the brain? Then they'll need chelation, sweating, flushing to get get them out, perhaps with a flax enema then?
It makes total sense what you say as I always notice a difference when I eat foods with vit A or betacarotene like fish and carrots or butternut squash, sweet potatoes etc.
I may wait until after my next liver flush to do a flax enema.
Thanks Shelley Smile

Right.

The main problem with metals toxicity is skin contact. We tend to absorb things 100% via the skin and lungs, but when digesting metals we only absorb 10% or less. That's why dental work can be so bad for us, if the fillings are close to the gums and turn them black you know you've absorbed mercury.

The body has tons of safeguards against digesting too many metals. It's one of the reasons why it's tough to recover from anemia. If you take iron supplements, you only absorb like 3% of what you swallow.

Yes the body is so clever isn't it! Though what about aluminium poisoning. There was that accident in the UK about 10 years when too much alu was released into the water and several people developed the symptoms of dementia. Do you mean the problem would have been washing in the water rather than drinking it?

I think I probably absorbed the mercury from the Hep B vaccines I had 12 years ago when my health problems started (Hep B vaccines contain theromersal which is a preservative derived from mercury).
There have been more and more testimonials on the Hep B vaccination forum on Curezone about symptoms following vaccination, eg M.S./M.E. type symptoms I can only conclude that these and my symptoms are those of mercury toxicity. Vaccines obviously go straight to the blood so maybe that was the problem rather than fillings since I only had 4 anyway and noticed no changes in my health when I got them out (with the right protocol).

I believe urine therapy, eg drinking or in enemas can help with anaemia.

Cheers Smile

aluminum is pretty easily absorbed compared to other metals, so both drinking and washing in it would have been a problem, yep.

heh heh heh!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Laughing Laughing Laughing
Your post really cracked me up Anne! I too had a mishap last week! Yuck!

A month or so ago (coz I had nothing better to do) I decided to try a castor oil enema (Barbara Wren at NatNut said it was superior to flax) ... but somehow I must have got it wrong.

I couldn't get the castor oil to run/drip through my enema tubing. How did you do this with the flax oil? I had to throw my enema bag away and get a new one. Embarassed

Hi Invinc, yes I was just so glad it didn't happen while I was at the shops!
I don't know how you'd get castor to go through as it's quite thick isn't it! Flax is a lot thinner plus I added a bit of hot water so it wasn't too cold to be absorbed. That would have thinned it a bit more too. It took about 30secs to start flowing properly then it was fine.
Perhaps you could just add some water to the castor oil for it to work. That's a shame you had to throw your kit away, did the castor oil clog it up or something?
That's annoying about Barbara Wrenn telling you something then not giving you proper instructions so it's not your fault you got it wrong! Our tutors in Manchester are just the same, they don't give you any handouts with instructions about the types of enemas you can do! Perhaps Wholistic Health Direct could help as I think they have a handout.

Hi Shelley, for the last 15 mins I've been on the loo a lot with several BMs! When I've been during the day, the oil comes out the same colour. However the last couple of times, it's been very dark brown. Would that be from the caecum or the liver? I did lay on my back and right side for about 15 mins when I did the enema and it's been 12 hours since I did it.
Thanks Smile

That sounds exciting Anne - I need more BMs right now!! Laughing I've ordered Triphala - looking forward to it's arrival. My God, I'm just obsessed with getting BMs!

I did try to add water to the castor oil, but the oil just floated and wouldn't mix. It's impossible to wash castor oil in plastic tubing.

Maybe I'll try a flax oil enema next week. Did your bag wash out easily?

6 hours retention - wow! Shocked Contact the guiness book of records!

Well really it's been 12 hours retention as most of the BMs and oil have come out in the last 1/2 hr so I'm sure I'm due for some award! Laughing Yes it's definitely a cure for constipation!! Forgot to say I did a water enema first and I added some chlorophyll drops to the flax oil which would have helped. I use triphala too though it can take quite a few capsules to get going!

I'm sure some traces of oil were left in the tube unless you put washing up liquid in there but I just rinsed it through with a lot of warm water and some grapefruit seed extract and it looks ok. Can you phone the Nat Nut school and leave a message for Barbara to see how she does it?

BTW have you been watching "Anatomy for Beginners" on C4? It's VERY graphic but I'm watching and recording it. Feel I need to step up on the A&P, but you can't really learn much when your like this Shocked looking at the TV. They have a very find specimen of a man on there though which makes it easier Wink
