I spent an extended period of time (approx 1 year) drinking and fasting on distilled water. This caused my pH to drop and I'm quite sure that I'm now suffering a mineral deficiency because of this. What is a good way to repair a general mineral deficiency...green drink, mineral supplements, ionic liquid minerals, etc?? Specific product recommendations are welcome!

Thanks!

Oh dear Sad

Distilled water is horrible, anyone who says otherwise is a fool...

The best thing to do would be to add a good multimineral supplement, like Solaray. Then have a very very nutritious and well planned diet to help.
Try shelleys protein shakes and food like avocado, very nutritious!

Try and assess what you're most deficient in and start rebuilding.
Blackstrap molasses are wonderfully nutrient dense.

Lots of good meats and vegetables, some raw dairy if you can get it!

Im not sure of the specifics of distilled water, but a balanced diet with plenty of high nutrient foods and meals will surely go along way to replacing lost vitamins and minerals.

oh dear me! Yep, definitely read the bits in the FAQ on rebuilding and tonifying. All of the super-foods, celtic sea salt, the cleansing drink, Cal-Mag Fizz, and a good all-around mineral supplement like Solaray's will help you out immensely.

Thank you both for your help!! I wish I had known the dangers of drinking distilled water. I also wish people would stop promoting it as the healthiest water to drink. Unfortunately, I had to learn the hard way. Oh well....

At least you should be told how to remineralise the stuff before drinking!

Ive been tempted to start making it and then remineralise because Ive been hearing lots of things about how bad the minerals in bottled water can be. I avoid tap water as much as possible (for obvious reasons) but still use it to cook, make tea and bathe - I couldnt afford to live otherwise Wink

So many opinions, so much confusion Wink
