The first few enemas i did went great! I didn't have to hold long at all until the urge to release came - and then i had great results. Lately though, i can hold for longer but when i go i feel like i have released to early - like I'm just releasing water and the faecal matter isn't moving. Sometimes my tummy is bloated afterwards because some water doesn't come out. But I don't feel like I could have held any longer!
So what tips do you have for a successful enema>
How long do you tend to hold for?
Any certain positions to get the water all the way through the colon?
I do massage my tum to get the water in and then out again. I'm just dying for a decent result like I used to get!
Thanks guys

| Most of those questions are in the FAQ under Bowel management. Nothing helps as much as massaging the soles of the feet. I can take in more water and retain it longer, then I simply massage my abdomen and switch sides to lay on as the water moves up the colon. |
