Hi Shelley,

I overate on some baked root veggies (I had some coconut oil in with the water and tumeric while they were baking too) and now I have a pain in my lower left side (is that my descending colon?). I also got the usual gall bladder/liver area discomfort and stuckness pain in upper right side of back.

I did a salt water and then a coffee enema this morning and didn't get much out. I am also wondering if I have a blockage of sludge in my colon?

I am going to take a walk and going to take some ACV because I can feel mucousy post nasal drip starting too (darn!). Any ideas for helping with this? I was thinking epsom salts for the gall bladder but am not sure.

Good health!

Yep, that's descending colon. If it's already that low but not coming out, glycerin tab suppositories or a Fleet enema or a retention enema of oils would probably be the best thing, available at any drugstore. Walking is fantastic, as is massage and stretching, like hurdler stretches that put pressure on the abs.

Until the discomfort passes, stick to a liquid diet. The cleansing drink will help get things out, they should chase a spoonful of olive oil.

When using coconut oil with food, it's best to mix the coconut with another oil that induces bile release to help with transit times/peristaltic action. like mix it with butter or olive oil 50/50.
