Hi Shelly,

What's your take on a Fruit Smoothie with egg ? Does the fruit and egg together break some basic food combining rule?

Ingredients: seasonal fruit (say 1/2 banana + 1/2 mango) a little water then blend; add 1 tablespoon pressed organic coconut oil + 1 tablespoon grade B maple syrup + yolk of 1 raw farm organic egg; slightly blend.

I like this Fruit Smoothie in the morning as a breakfast. Then, as the smoothie is light, I probably have an early lunch. It sure does taste good and has great ingredients, but it does mix fruit with egg.

Thanks,

Davey

if that's all you're having as your meal you should be fine. Let your body tell you whether it's okay - if you're digesting it fine, no burps or gas, then it's not a problem. Someone else may have problems but that doesn't mean you will.
