Hi,
I've been suffering from acne for a long long time. I've done many liver cleanses, eat a healthy diet, probiotics, gotten allergy tests, hormone tests, comprehensive stool analysis... the list goes on and on...

Out of desperation I started taking doxycycline. A few days later I was completely cleared up. I've read the posts. I know it's so bad and I don't want to be on it but having clear skin feels so good. I hate antibiotics and realize I will develop a tolerance to them and I am completely messing up my system.

My question is what does this do to work so well??? How can it work so fast?? Is there a natural alternative??? Is it somehow killing something inside of me that I can just avoid??

Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you so much

Hi Jennifer! Smile

When antibiotics help someone get rid of acne, that means that their body, for whatever reason, maybe you weren't breast fed for instance, or never eat yoghurt, but anyway, it means your immune system and fats are all messed up! You need to replace your friendlies by eating yogurt and preferably kefir, or taking live acidophilus supplements. This might cause a short breakout, just keep taking it for a couple weeks.

You also need to supplement B vits and eat the right fats. Olive oil, walnut, coconut, butter, whatever works best for your blood type. Avoid phony fats, trans fats, all else are GOOD.

Everyone needs what I call Skin Food regularly. A fast-food diet just doesn't give you beautiful skin! Please read the FAQ for more Info.

To diagnose more about you I'll need to know your other symptoms and where exactly the acne was located and what kind it was exactlly - size of eruptions, whether they had pus, etc.
