| Plastics are a problem but a surmountable one. Just don't nuke anything wtih Saran Wrap on top. That's a biggie. The rest are negligible unless you use a lot of plastic to wrap and store your seasonal gear or to cover your sofas. I still use Ziplock bags for food storage. |

I always have watermelon in my fridge and store it covered with Saran Wrap until I finish it, which is usually 4-5 days and then I buy another one and the same process starts all over again !!
How else can I store a humangeous 10-15 pound watermelon ??

| It's okay to use in the fridge, just not the microwave. Once it's heated or nuked it releases the toxins. |
