| I am going to have my first colonic a week from tommorrow.....i am really underweight and think i need to have this done to clean me out as i am severely constipated and have been for a long time. I feel i have a lot of toxic build-up in me. What do I do to prepare for this, and how often should I have it done? I know one time isnt enough and wont be a cure all. Also, what is the average price? The only place within 80 miles of me is at this holistic doctors home, and she charges $60 for the first session and 50 thereafter. She reccomended I get it done 3-4 times within 2 weeks.....does this all sound reasonable? And how should I prepare? Thanks in advance, Im a little nervous to tell you the truth! |

that's the market rate.
What you want to do to prepare for a cleanse is to start cleansing/tonifying now. Go on a very clean diet of mostly my protein shake and kichadi, broths, whole grain cereals, whole veggies, preferably superfoods high in nutrients like avocados and bananas and NYF. Cleansing drink, Emergen-C, Cal-Mag Fizz, are all very helpful in mitigating healing crisis symptoms. Start taking them now. Have them at the ready for afterwards. |

Most drugstores don't carry them, but health food stores do, and Amazon does. They're the best vitamins, most absorbable and don't mess iwth digestion at all.
NYF = Nutritional Yeast Flakes. Just start reading posts as much as possible, you'll soon get the lingo. And read the FAQ. |
