Whether you are experiencing symptoms or symptom-free, cleansing, rebuilding or simply maintaining, there are certain things that may be done regularly by just about anyone of any body type as part of their lifestyle in order to create Vital Health. So if you ever ask yourself the question, What could I be doing for my health that is simple and effective (and hopefully cheap) that I'm not doing? What healthy habit can I start?

Option #1

Get a physical once a year. It should include a basic metabolic functions test and a urine test. If you have health insurance, use it! If you don't, research your alternatives. I use a walk-in health clinic with great prices for lab tests and the best doctor I've ever met.

This also entails:
* keeping a copy of all lab tests and reading them yourself online. Have a health folder right next to your tax and receipts folder.

Option #2

Create a symptoms list and update about once a week if you have more than 5 symptoms or are cleansing or otherwise managing them. More on this later - I'll have a document to help you generate a thorough symptoms list.

Option #3

Get good resources. I'm a resource, but you probably need more than just moi! That includes books, the 'net, other practitioners. If you are ill and fighting illness, you should have an entire TEAM. There are many other reasons to have an entire team, such as preparing for a marathon. Teamwork is powerful stuff!

Try to have a bunch of experts (in book or live form) from ALL modalities. One regular, orthodox physician, one alternative, one for your physical structure (masseuse, physical therapist, chiro, rolfer, feldenkrais, dancer, yoga, pilates), one for your energy, spirituality, emotions, depending on what you're working on.

Don't cheap out to the point where you won't even buy books! Time and money spent on health is always a good investment.

Option #4

Start drinking the Cleansing Drink. Whether sick or well, this will help in a myriad of ways.

Option #5

Start including the super-foods and regular foods that get you adequte Skin Food in your diet, also be sure to analyze your needs for calcium/magnesium.

Option #6

Detox baths in particular, other lymph management in general

Option #7

Follow the guidelines for Digestive Power. If you don't know them, learn them now! In the FAQ.

Option #8

Stretch. If you're not into building muscle mass, or even if you are, at the very least you must stretch your muscles and more importantly your spine, regularly. You don't have to study yoga, just do basic calisthenic type stretches. Just STRETCH!!! Very Happy

Option #9

Get plenty of fluids, preferably as the Cleansing Drink, Rehyrdating Drink, herbal teas, broths, cultured beverages, reverse-osmosis filtered water that has been remineralized.

Option #10

Include more cultured foods in your diet.

Ah, I have a post in the Sources forum I think about remineralization. One of the best options is to get Liquid Concentrace. It's a bottle of pure ocean, basically. Great stuff. Smile There are lots of products like it, but this one has the best national distribution.

Hello Sunshine! Welcome.

I am so glad you found us.

I am 38 and went through my own cancer treatments in my twenties.
I understand the fear of it coming back.

What are you currently doing now?

Give us an idea about you and perhaps we can make some suggestions.

and do read through the FAQ a wealth of ideas in there for you Smile

Be well
