Another reason why docs/derms should stop prescribing antibiotics for acne: http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/9410154/

Good post Johnny, thanks for sharing it with us Smile
That contribute the to the whole Vital Health approach that we are trying to achieve here.
People just think that the doctors are always right. I was one of them until they screw up my health. Evil or Very Mad

I know what you mean Ivana. For the most part we are blinded by the fact that we all initially require a quick fix to solving our problems and so place our trust in doctors to prescribe us whatever pills are available to meet this desire. Unfortunately we only realise the true consequences of this when we start to experience the side-effects from these drugs. From that point on, with regards to our health, it is usually down-hill unless we decide to take away this demand for short-term fixes and start to look at the long-term and target ourselves towards prevention rather than cure.

To be honest, if it wasn't for the internet I would still be applying steroid creams and other lethal concotions to my face and eating a not-so healthy diet.

We basically need a medical revolution against all these greedy drug companies.

I 100% agree that antibiotics should not be used for acne. I used them for this purpose for 3-4 years until I did my own research. And boy did I feel nieve for listening to the doctor and mad at myself for not treating my body better.
