Hi Brandon,
I know I sent you a private Message with most of this information but I thought I should post it in the open forum so that any one else in our neck of the world could read it too.
Toronto being the metro center it is has a vast array of sources for most items you may want and need.
The ethnic communities in different areas are a fabulous sources for spices and herbs Garam Masala can be found in handy packages already mixed and ready to go.
Chinatown and Spadina are another great resource you can find mung beans whole, split, halved, yellow or green.. tons of fruits and veggies that just don't make it to the average grocery store.
Kensington Market is the best for fish and produce. Most of the produce and fish in the local markets first come through here.
Taking the time to explore these cultural communities can be so much fun and open you up to trying new and interesting things.
For basic cleansing and rebuilding products.
Start with Bulk Barn, Shoppers Drugmart, Fortino's, Zehrs,
Natural products, golden flax Kefir, Emergen-c, Yeast busters, Rice Dream, Celtic Sea Salts...There are so many of the basic items that you can pick up conveniently around the corner.
And of course we are home to Sensible Health.
I hope this helps a bit.
If there are specific items on your shopping list let me know I may have stumbled on it at some point in my wanderings.
Be well
