Hello LK,
I will try to answer your post as much as I know, though my knowledge is limited, but until Shelley comes back I hope it will somehow help you.
As you probably already know Pityriasis rosea is a rash, it may be set off by a viral infection but does not appear to be contagious. What you could do is to lift up your immune system and go for super food and skin food . Also eat food that is high in vitamin E , it helps with skin issues. Shelley says that most of the problems are coming form the bowel, have you done any bowel management ? If not read the link that I gave you for more info about that.
I hope you will find this helpful, at least until the Shelley comes back

Sorry you are dealing with this.
I looked it up in a couple of my text and reference book here at home.
Not alot to offer in simple quick cure.
Good news is that it is generally short lived. Ocassionally it can hang around for a while in some people. Generally those who have immune issues etc.
It is thought to be virus related, and is generally dermatologist treated with a prescription topical cream if a patient requests.
I only found one reference to a precription treatment quoted from the American Academy of Dermatology 2000;42:241-244
But I didn't find any back up to this refernce, so I don't know how reliable it is. and wouldn't feel comfortable with suggesting it.
I checked a few other forums out there that deal with skin issues and the general talk is that messing with the area itself only seems to imflame it. The over the counter hydracortazone - nope, tea tree produces - nope, etc.
I think Ivana is right is suggesting a good cleansing protocol. The better we get things working on the inside the better we look on the outside.
Both short term and long term. |

| Thanks to all of you. It's been hanging for 2 months now... I decided to get my immune system working better, so I take good doses of vitamin C and multivitamins now. My bowels should be clean, I did MC few months ago. Anyway I was planning on doing second MC next week to loose little more weight. I am going for vacation and looking good in a bikini would be nice. I hope stupid PR will go away as well by that time. I went to the doctor and got the oinment. Will try it in one place first to see if it helps. |

| Have you done any parasite cleanses? The roseaceas are very often due to a protozoa. |
