My parents just got a vitamix 5000. Technically its not a "juicer" but some ultra high powered blender that juices everything including the pulp of whatever too. Well I'd like to start doing the juicing business. Does anyone have any sites or recipes to pass along that they'd recommend? The vitamix is looking a bit sexy and I would like to start fondling with it very soon. |

You can pretty much juice anything in whatever combinations appeal to you. Many people use carrot, beet or apple as a base, since they have a pleasing sweet taste.
Other good things to add; celery, parsley, virtually ANY green, but some will taste better than others. Sorrel is delicious. Kale or spinach are easily masked by carrot. You can also add lemon, garlic, ginger for extra flavor and nutrition. |
