|
|
Hi all,
Shelley advises to rehydrate before seriously starting to cleanse.
Therefore I thought of taking the rehydrating drink for a while.
I have some questions on the recipe and on how to take it maybe someone can help me with these:
As I cannot get organic limes this time of the year would it be ok to replace the 1/2 lime in the recipe with 1/2 organic lemon?
When should the drink be taken?
Would it be best to drink it first thing in the morning right after getting up and again maybe last thing at night before going to bed?
If it should simply be drank throughout the day should I drink it before, after, with or in between meals then?
Ok, I think that's about it.
Thanks a lot for looking into my questions and a happy new year to everyone!

Lemon is fine... so is drinking it first thing in the morn and last at night. I'd probably drink it inbetween meals, but since it has all that lemon, it'd actually aid digestion if you were to have it before meals. Hope that helps.
Happy New Year! |

Thanks a lot for your answer hOppy - it sure did help!
One last question: Can I drink as much of the rehydrating drink as I like throughout the day, or should I limit it to one drink (12-18 ounces) a day? I just tried the drink and it tastes pretty good
Blessings,

You can have more when you want but try to keep the total down a bit as not to be consuming too many lemons a day.
Shelley had once said
you really shouldn't have more than 6 lemons a day for extended periods of time, as it is hard on the liver/gallbladder because of its contraction/cleansing effect. Over time, it will weaken the liver and spleen. |
