I have a jar of sun dried tomatoes in olive oil, in my kitchen cupboard ... I'm worried about it collecting bacteria ... Shocked
Should I refrigerate it instead ??
I've had it since APRIL, 2006.

What about Sauerkraut ... Once I open a jar, can I put it back on the SHELF or FRIDGE ??

THANKS ALOT
Very Happy

Refrigerate, definitely if it's been opened.

Once you start eating the saeurkraut, refrigerate it. You don't want the fermentation to continue indefinitely or you get alcohol or rotten bacteria instead of vinegar/lactic-acid friendlies.
