| there's no way to get enough iron from sea salt. You only need a teaspoon of salt a day basically, that's not enough iron. |

OK thanks Shelley! I forgot to mention that I do have molasses too
I'm being careful with eggs at the mo due to the high sulphur. Some people with mercury tox react to high sulphur foods. I haven't worked out if I'm one of them yet. I'm waiting for the results of a hair analysis I sent off recently to give me more clues as to what's going on At this rate I'll be living on chicken, brown rice and carrots, lol!
An iridologist told me once to avoid iron supplements after she examined my eyes so I'm too scared to take it.

shelley,
for some reason i feel sure that all the oils ive been using have caused continued problems for my hair. i was using an all over body scrub with essential oils and carrier oils for months now before putting two and two together (i pray that this does make sense to you..the whole accutane/bad liver situation???) anyway my hair seems to be sprouting a little bit more, just all of the sudden i see the littlest hairs popping up. not enough to make a difference for MONTHS..but im still shedding. it seems to go up and down. i cant stand it much longer.
how long woudl it feesibly take for this to calm down after i take out the trigger (if this is it?) are the hairs that are falling now, ready to fall no matter what, having gotten to this stage months ago..and now i just need to wait a month or two for all of it to stop? does that make sense.
i was hoping i could stop the oils and the hairloss would STOP...but maybe this is unrealistic? |

It's impossible to say when this is all going to equalize sweetie, drugs are weird and vitamin toxicity is a serious business. Just rest assured that whatever you lose is going to make its way back, it's just TEMPORARY. Wear your hair short and it should still look fine! |

shelley,
in one of your other posts you wrote that lecithin helps "emulsify fats" or something like that..would lecithin help me get some of this oil out of my body? do you really think the body oils and hair oils that i was using has caused an uproar in my liver pushing out old vitamin a that has been stored since high doses of accutane. i want it out of my body now...would lecithin, or colonics work. if colonics would work, what kind should i look for. ill have them done as i dont feel knowledgable myself, but i just have to get better from this somehow! |

yes, about a tablespoon a day would help things nicely!
Colonics get expensive after awhile. Try one just to get some experience iwth the process and then switch to your own enema/colema setup. Instructions in the fAQ. |

shelley,
i hope this posts in the right spot. for some reason on thread wont let me go to page two....
i continue to think im overloaded with oils. im noticing allmost all products i have have oils in them. the other day my hair loss went way up..i couldnt understand why. i noticed last night my hand cream had avacado oil, olive oil, almond oil..and my body cream has mineral oil. so i think im going to look on line for some pure shea butter..would that be ok?
anyway im getting ready to go work out again. ill really try to sweat a lot and work out to lose this fat..is that were all this stuff is stored. im getting the stuff for the ginger bath this weekend. should i shower right when i get out to get the toxins out of my body.....is there ANYTHING else i can do to get this oil out of me. i thought about water and thought its good for me but water and oil dont mix!! i want something to dry it all up. i know something is wrong because my body hair isnt growing at all. i never have to shave anymore...something is up!! thank you. |

Just to say that I use VCO every day and when sunbathing I use only this and do not burn (as long as I don't go silly and stay in the sun all day!)
Then after a shower I then plaster myself with a good aloe vera. When we are in Gran Canaria the palants are all around and we use the REAL STUFF.
Just thought that the VCO might have a good affect just like it does on the liver when eaten.
??

| extra virgin coconut oil I think. It's a safe oil for you because it has different chains than other oils, goes right to the lymph rather than the liver, and is not high in Vit A. |

whoops! sorry I missed it.
Shea butter would be just like any other oil. You DO need SOME oils in your diet, so stick to olive and coconut for the most part for now.
Yep, A is a fat-soluble vitamin, so you have to burn fat to get rid of excess A. Sweating helps a lot especially when on a reduced-calorie diet, so go for the detox bath. You don't have to shower afterwards unless you want to cool down. All the toxins will come out in the bath. Since I'm a Vata, which means cold, I just bundle up and go right to bed and continue sweating, showering the next day.
Lecithin helps emulsify fats, so it will help too.
Slow hair growth means a lack of B vits, protein, slow metabolsm overall. Drink the Cleansing Drink twice a day, eat some super-foods like Nutritional Yeast Flakes like my power protein kefir shake and Emergen-C. |
