Troy, my understanding is both the toxins and the bile bind to the alkaloids in the coffee (all the chemicals you listed - caffeine and the others) and are thus eliminated when the enema solution is voided. And like you say, it does burn more than other enemas, and the color of what comes out is notably different.

BB, having deep groves in the tongue suggest a lot of gut permeability, inflammation, fissures, so it's no wonder that you're hurting! I'd avoid coffee enemas for now, and stick to soothing therapies (aloe, flax seed tea, liquid chlorophyll) and broth/nutrition enemas, and see about getting some Vitamin B/B12 shots. If you can find a healer who does applied kinesiology, you can make sure what you can and cannot absorb right now, and what you're allergic to. Chances are you can't adequately digest and absorb things in order to build healthy tissues and need digestive enzymes to support the process.

You should not have that horizontal groove. You may have spinal subluxions messing things up and impeding the healing process. A consultation with a chiropractor would be a good idea.

The vertical groove should not be wide or deep, and it should start disappearing as you increase B vits, skin food, and take care of your spine. It would be good for you to stretch out your spine and legs daily and avoid high heels.

The bumps at the back are normal. We go by the flat part of the tongue for tongue diagnosis, the part easily seen and used for speech.

Hope that helps! Smile

Thanks for your input Shelley,
I scheduled a chiropractic appointment to see what they can tell.

I was thinkin of starting to take the colonix formulas after the equinox, maybe after a short fast. Do you think that if what you suggest is the case (inflamed gut, permeability, etc.), that that is ok, or a bad idea?

i am just really tired of all of this gas, bloating, pain! and i want to do something to stop it.

Colonix will need to be a part of your healing regimen certainly, but first you need to plug those holes! Fiber is abrasive, it scours the intestines clean. When you have a tongue coat, you need to cleanse. But your fissures mean that you need to do a very gentle cleansing that's low in fiber, or accents very friendly fiber.

I can often get rid of the coat simply by eating a bowl of fruit for breakfast and later drinking a cup of Digest-Ease tea. The combo of peppermint, cinnamon and fennel takes away uncomfortable bloat in no time, and fennel is a safe and mild laxative so nothing sticks to the intestines to further irritate them. And pears, peaches, grapefruit and berries are very friendly fiber.

Hi Shelley,
I hate to be so dense about this, but sometimes it all gets so confusing! How does one go about "plugging up the holes"?
Aloe vera juice maybe? L-glutamine? And then gentle fiber? and THEN Colonix?

Thanks again,
Anna

You got it, basically. Smile You plug up the holes by giving the body what it needs to rebuild healthy tissues: L-glutamine mostly, B12 and the other skin food is essential too. Aloe helps repair the healthy mucus lining, which prevents holes. Lactic acid in saeurkraut helps to balance the pH of the gut, which speeds up rebuilding time.

Concurrently, you have to avoid whatever it is you're allergic to so you don't swell up and make more holes. The usual suspects are all food additives, garlic (once there's gut permeability garlic and sulphur become a problem), onion, cabbage unless fermented, corn, gluten.
