| Hiya Chickpea! I want to be the first to offer some support for your blog. I don't often have much to contribute to Shelley's site, but I love reading what some folks here have to say. For me complaining to my friends is just a way to clearify my feelings and intentions. I also complain just to get the frustration out of my system, I find complaining helps stop the "mental tape" as Shelley calls it. Just saying out loud or typing it down is cleansing. Plus it's always reassuring to hear from someone else they too have struggled with simmular situations. Knowing that others have the same feelings and encounter the same obsticals make me feel "normal". So, blog on. I'm intrested in what you have to say. |

Sorry you are down.
I totally can empathize. I had a horrific week last week, and it just totally knocked me off my balance. When you don't have a group of friends 'into' the same issues as you it is hard to seek support.
I think the journal is a wonderful tool to work out stuff.
I have note pads for other stuff too. It helps to have a output for the negativity.
I'm a little more on keel now but not at my best.
So many factors are involved in achieving a balanced life.
When cleansing and healing these factors can really tip the balance.
This week I feel huge in size. I look in the mirror and I don't appear right.
My clothes are fitting fine so I know I haven't gained weight, but I think I'm still 'off' so to speak.
My perception of myself is not very positive; I know that stems from the fact that I haven't been getting my proper exercise. so I feel out of shape.
Sigh ~
Hang in there.

Everyone has their own peaks and troughs when battling through ill health, i sure do!! just to let you know that you have a good support network here and we will all look forward to seeing how you are doing. k x |

Hey Anne
I'm so glad you've decided to go back to your counselling course! That's brilliant! I said to you before that I KNOW you'll make a great counsellor one day .. and hey! I'm sure I'll need your services hehehe
I'm booked in for my Kinesiology course now, ends at the end of July I think. I'll test you for everything when I'm done - it'd be great to meet up! I know I get a nutritional test kit (whatever that is!) as part of my fee.
Louise Hay said that whenever she was really angry, she'd punch pillows .. if that didn't work, she'd get into a freezing cold shower and scream her head off. Alternatively, you could just go to the person you're mad with, punch them in the face and scream at them (that was MY suggestion, not Louise Hay's!)

Heh heh! Well, it's true that most people train in counselling or similar because they are in need of therapy themselves! Some of the neediest people I've met were on my counselling course.
Why don't you tell your tutor about the mercury? I'm sure it would help her understand your situation a whole load better. It's not like you're making excuses for yourself ... you have some real problems and I'm sure they would be so much more accomodating if they have all the facts. You might even get someone to help you write your essays. I wrote out all certificate essays for a girl on my course because she was dyslexic, she just dictated and I typed and then did all the spellings etc.
Can you eat raisins? Aren't they really high in potassium? I've been gorging on them a lot lately (amongst my other things that I've been gorging on )
I've just eaten a giant mars bar - naughty but nice (hope Shelley's not reading this ) |

Hi Chickpea!
Like Ono, I don't really post too much here. But I do enjoy reading what others have to say. So, like the others have said, post away!! We all learn from one another!!! Personal experiences can teach others so much, IMO.
Regarding the bad days-honey, we all have them, so don't feel like you're alone. I was doing so good on my regimen then BAM!! I had 2 candy bars and can of Pringles this past Sunday and got 4 fresh zits to prove it!!I want to kick myself in the butt. But we have all been there and can relate. We are all human here, and we all backslide one time or another. Best thing to do is pick yourself up (which it looks like you have!!!) and move forward!! We're here for ya!!! |

HI Anne, I really hope that things are looking better for you now. Great that your going back to the counselling course. Personnally, I think that it takes a certain understanding, and compassion to want to do this, and do it well. If someone has 'been there' before, they will do it better than someone whe hasn't, and doesn't understand as well. My opinion anyway.
From the posts of yours that I've read, it looks like you ARE that person!
I think that a lot of my problems are due (or at least aggrevated by the fillings I have). Sometimes I'd like to just have all my teeth (the ones with fillings in) pulled out! |
