Hey Anne
I just took a look at the hair analysis .. to be honest, I can't work out what it means
Can someone get one of those if they have died hair? I've been putting a permanant colour on every month for about 10 years now .. have to hide the grey!
You are so sensitive to so many things! I bet you're getting sick of it all. I really hope, this year, you start to see positive results of all the hard work you've done to help yourself.
The great thing is Andy Cutler is helping you, that's a really positive place to be. Good to have expert advice!
Yes, I'm looking forward to doing the Vipassana ... it'll either make me or drive me totally insane I seem to move in and out of being spiritual, it's something I'd like as a constant. I know I focus too much on the material and physical. |

Hi Anne
I don't think I could handle no hair dye for a few months, that's the trouble when you have black hair, the grey really stands out!
Anyway, I've decided not to worry about my fillings, It only ends up stressing me out too much and I think the liver flushes definately help clear up and brain fog type issues.
The steam train journey sounds fun! We went on one in Wales last summer.
It's been a lovely Spring-like day today, and although I stuffed my face with all sorts of forbidden foods, it's been lovely in the garden. I cleaned out the pond, planted a 2 Blackberry and 10 Raspberry plants (won't bear fruit this year) and prepared the soil for some herb seed sewing in a couple of weeks.
Hope you had a good weekend |

Thanks! I looked at the site and the adrenal formulas have licorice in which I don't want to take. I think I need more help than just herbs at the moment, so looking into glandulars.
Thanks anyway

Anne, I noticed on your test results that you were low on molybdenum. Do you ever feel a little burning in your urine when you go to the bathroom? Not necessarily an infection, but burning nonetheless? Or, do you get infections alot?
I ask because Julie noted that my uric acid levels were on the low end of normal and she said I needed a molybdenum supplement to help bring them up. I've been taking it for about a month and had not problems with it. A chelated molybdenum. |

Hi, I assume that's JF??
That was the first hair test you were looking at, my more recent one is the second scan, .0000007. My molybdenum levels are OK for that one, probably down to all the beans I've been eating over the last couple of years!
I do get burning and cystitis sometimes though so yes that does apply to me somewhat. Not had it recently though which is good
Thanks!

Hi Anne
I rememeber you said you wanted to get more iron. Have you considered nettle tea? I've been grabbing bunches of leaves from the garden and simmering them for 30-50 minutes. Tastes lovely, and very high in potassium, iron and calcium I believe.
There should be loads in any woodland area/wild garden right now, but make sure you put on some gloves wehn you pick them! They taste so much better that the bagged/dried stuff. |

Thanks Invinc! Sorry I didnt' see this post!
Yes I do have nettle tea, just in herbal teabags but haven't had any for a while, I should probably make sure I drink it every day. I am taking an iron supplement and eating things like beetroot and some extra red meat though meat makes me a bit too acidic.
Thanks for the info Actually if I was to go hunting for nettles I'm not sure what they look like lol! I'll look it up in my herbie books!

Hi Anne
Forgot to say, I'm REALLY excited about this one. (Maybe I should be writing this in my blog but I've abandoned it)
I did enroll on the NatNut correspondence course but never got round to doing even 1 essay! I did read half the books though so I feel I have benefited somewhat. I just need live tutorials/interaction I think plus local people to work with.
I originally wanted to go and do the Naturopathic Nutrition course with CNM College of Naturopathic Nutriton, it's a 3 year course, with 1 full weekend a month attendance, but it was/is a lot more expensive but I always felt it may be a better learning as it covers diagnostic techniques like blood/urine testing etc. Also, the first year is purely a medicine/anatomy and physiology course, and the 2nd and 3rd year is nutrition. I feel that the medicine/A&P aspect is so important, even though I passed my A&P diploma I am still confused!!!! My understanding is pretty poor and I guess my diploma was mainly for complementary therapists like massage/reflexologists etc. so not in depth enough for nutrition.
Wwwwwwwwwwweeeeeeeeeeeelllllllllllllllll, I just got the announcement that CNM will be starting the 3 year Naturopathic Nutrition course at Birmingham University in September, and they have an open evening next week that I'll go to.
http://www.naturopathy-uk.com/nutritiondiploma.html
They cover Chinese and Ayurvedic systems too.
I feel this course will actually equip me with the skills to work. And by the time I finish (ha ha .. she says hopefully!) the kids will be 15 and hopefully not need as much of my time.
My god, I've got to get a life! Is there life after twins??
How's things with your course? Plus how's counselling going? Make sure you keep going with counselling, coz I think you're going to be brilliant! |

That course sounds fantastic!! I wish I could do it,. maybe I will in the future! It's much more thorough than the Natnut one!
Yes it sounds just what you need to do and it's great being local.
Let us know if you get on it
