Hi Shelley!

I was just wondering if all the flooding going on in California is affecting the area you are in. I've really been thinking about all those people who are dealing with the mudslides and flooding. I'm really praying that this passes quickly for them.

Take care!

Hi Pbaby!

I'm getting all the rain but so far no worries. Smile I'm about 4 miles from Huntington Beach on a totally flat plain, so no mudslides and so far no flash flooding. But there are plenty of places I can't drive to because the water in the intersections is too high for my car.

This kind of flooding happens about once every 7-10 years. the rest of the time we rarely see any rain, and that tends to happen at night while we sleep. So I don't think we Californians have much to complain about, unless of course our house just slid down a canyon wall. Wink

There have been some incredible rainbows and cloud formations and I've managed to get out and see some sun today, take the dogs for a walk, so I'm happy. Smile
