Hi again
Shelley, is a banana a few times a week going to be detrimental to liver cleansing? I have been enjoying more fruit since loosening up on the candida diet (I think candida has been totally balanced for me (yay!) thanks more so to tons of kefir for over a year rather than super-strict diet. I never did get to even do 3 months in a row of a perfect candida diet. It's all about the probiotics! While not symptom free, I get no increase in symptoms from eating higher sugar stuff (like even a ice cream LOL) and I even did a few 1/4 cup ACV to 2 quarts water enemas recently and nothing came out. Interesting how those enemas don't irritate me at all... while I have a thin vata body my innards are kapha... well protected with mucous I suppose). Anyways, my main focus now is the liver until I start mercury chelation in the end of Sept. I'm doing Julia's CB/Coptis one bottle each cycled at 2 weeks then a break, and GCG with flushes, I've gone thru a tub of lecithin, lots of ACV/apples, dandelion tea, and I'm on NOW liver detoxifier & regenerator and PF bupleurum liver cleanse when I'm not on the tinctures (don't worry, I take liver herb breaks as appropriate). Are bananas really that bad on liver diets? They seem to jive really well with my body and I have quick transit/never had constipation. My body isn't clean yet cos the livers not but it's not too too congested I don't think, tongue seems a lil pale sometimes but doesn't really have a coat. If I was to just listen to my body, the obvious answer is go for it but can bananas hinder with liver cleansing? Also, since it is the fructose that is hard on the liver, does it help to eat it with carbs/fats like hot cereal to slow down the fructose absorption? Thanks... |
