Hi Shelley!
What is it that causes the eyes to get sunken underneath? Is it adrenals or a water balance thing? I notice when they get sunken, I retain fluid but I'm not sure what it causing it or what I can do.
I am starting to workout again, not heavy lifting and I haven't lifted in years. I am still sore in my arms three days later, I did not lift enough that I should still be sore, what can I do to help the muscles recover?
Hope all is well with you! We got smacked by Fay, 15 inches of rain here but thankfully my house wasn't damaged.
Thank you for any suggestions

it's usually dehydration and it can be due to weakened adrenals, since adrenals and kidneys are part of the system that decides how much water should be where.
You can drink tons and still be dehydrated if you don't have enough salt, protein and potassium in your system, and if your adrenals are so weak that you're not manufacturing the hormones that manage salt etc. So analyze your diet. If you never eat salt, start eating some. If you're getting plenty of potassium, then make sure you're getting enough essential proteins and L-taurine and L-carnitine.
If your muscles are building up lactic acid very fast, then what you need to do is eat some before your workout. Clausen's sour pickles are awesome for this. Vinegar works, so the cleansing drink works too. And build up to your workouts. Just do 20 minute easy neighborhood walks daily for a week or so, and a set of jumping jacks and stretching some other part of the day.
Hope that helps! |

Hi Shelley!
I will increase my salt, potassium and protein and see how it goes. If that doesn't work, I'll get some guta kola and try that along with the broth.
I found out why my arm muscles hurts, it was both arms at first but now just the left. I tore the bicep a few years ago, didn't injure lifting or this time. I was putting a box of cereal under a cabinet but the stretch and angle, whacked it again. Now it has that burning feeling, tingles, weak...another few weeks before this gets better
Thank you so much!

| Ah, interesting. With severe injuries like that, to fully recover you have to have someone do bodywork on you. If you can't afford an actual physical therapist (one treatment under their machine can do wonders, actually) just have a friend massage you best they can. Soft tissues don't go back into their rightful position without good manipulation, and the shape of your injury can pull your entire body out of whack. But wait until tingling and such stops. |
