Nope! As always with pickled and fermented foods, it's best to make them yourself so you have total control over the process and so they aren't pasteurized, but dill pickles are rich in lactic acid same as saeurkraut. So so long as you get the refrigerated kind you should be fine.  |

| That's why it's probably better to make your own. You need to watch out for all those commercial additives... |

| oh I was thinking of the sour pickles. A good dill pickle recipe has no sugar in it. |
