Hi Shelley,
Just wanted to keep you updated on how I'm feeling.
I'm still incredibly weak and fatigued. My appetite is very poor though I'm trying to eat something every day. I'm scared of losing weight but dont seem to be able to tolerate more food or I get a headache.
I did an enema this morning and my headache came back. I also got very itchy on my head and various parts of my body afterwards. The itchiness was strong and sometimes unbearable.
My left ear is blocked and I've put a couple of drops of warm olive oil down to see if that helps.
I'm also feeling nauseous and constantly irritable and crying every now and then out of desperation and exhaustion. My breathing is quite weak too at times and I almost feel I'm going to develop asthma but then it passes.
This is all very hard to cope with and I'm so scared I'm just going to deteriorate. I feel like an 80 yr woman.

I've ordered Andy Cutler's book about mercury and if it is mercury I may try to follow his protocol. It's a difficult protocol. You have to take alpha lipoic acid every 3 or 4 hours, including during the night, for a few days then take at least the same number of days off. They recommend taking things like milk thistle and other supplements. However the protocol can go on for up to 2 years for some people. Is it is Ok to take milk thistle for this long, as it can be oestregenic can't it?
Also I've been told liver flushing can be dangerous if you are mercury toxic. I've already done one liver flush. I'm really not sure whether to try to do another next month, assuming I feel up to it. If I leave it, could I get worse, aren't you suppose to carry on flushing once you start?

Thanks for any advice and comments Shelley Smile

oh dear, I'm so sorry you're not feeling better! You might want to try the oil swish, it's a pretty gentle detox. Are you keeping up your electrolytes and calcium?

Milk thistle is not estrogenic. It is very powerful, however, so it's best to cycle on and off. You can use it safely for one month and perhaps up to 3 months, but I like to take it for one month, go off for two weeks, then back on again.

Severe itchiness means you have lots of acids and phosphorous. The best cure for that is calcium, potassium broth and a detox bath made with apple cider vinegar. Simply add about 2-4 cups of ACV to a warm but not hot bath and soak for 20 minutes. End with a cold water rinse.

Hope that helps! Smile

Thank you Shelley Smile
Yes I'm trying to keep up my electrolytes with cleansing drink, potassium or chicken broth. For calcium, I'm just eating veggies, maybe a yohurt, some molasses in the cleansing drink. Do you think this is enough? Why is calcium so important? To counteract the acids?
I can't believe I have so many acids, I've been eating mostly alkaline foods for a while. I don't eat many acids foods at all. I'm assuming the mercury has affected my Ph.
ACV doesn't suit me to take it internally, either drinking or in enemas, would it still be ok for me in a bath? Would epsom salts be enough?
That's good about the milk thistle Smile

Yes, calcium is an essential part of remaining alkaline and to help the body shed acids. The body cannot exit acids if calcium isn't there to buffer them.

ACV should still be fine in a bath, but you can experiment with just half a bath and see how you do.

No matter whether you eat acid foods or not, your body can have acid stores from way back, or increase them simply because you're not digesting properly.
