Hi Shelley!
Happy summer! It's hot and humid here in Florida, I hope you're enjoying your weather.
I have been having diarrhea lately, not complete fluid like but very loose with some formed as well but lumpy, like the shape of the intestine.
Normally, I would drink a glass of water in the morning and have a normal bowel movement within 15 minutes. I had a lot of stress two months ago and the bowels went wacky. There are times when I have a loose bowel movement and it burns.
I started drinking Coloklysis about a week and a half ago, that worked for a few days, I stopped drinking it and the loose bowels are back. I did drink the daily formula today and still had them this evening.
I have been taking Primal Defense as well, I noticed that I have tinea versicolor on my trunk again which I had years ago.
My diet is fairly bland, I haven't really added anything other than I do eat salmon every day now.
I juiced beets, cucumber, lemon and olive oil (1 tblsp) and it went through me and came out just as it went in about two hours later.
I also am spotting, a brownish color, doesn't go to a regular cycle, just spots for a few days, stops and then starts again. This has been for the past few weeks as well. Under eyes are sunken and I get tired after a bowel movement.
Yep, that's how much fun I'm having
I read through the FAQ, the bowel management but that was mostly for constipation.
I have tried to get this under control but, now it's time to ask the person who will know
Thank you for any suggestions!

The cure for diarrhea is almost the opposite of pungent therapy: the bland, BRAT diet. I thought I put that in the FAQ, hmmm... The rule is, if you get diarrhea you can have it up for 3 days and consider it cleansing. After that it's debilitating and you need to stop it, cure it, balance it, get back to normal for a few days.
BRAT stands for: Bananas, rice (jasmine, plain), applesauce, tea. Also good is plain canned pumpkin. Also drink the Rehydration Drink.
Probiotics will almost always give you diarrhea as your microbe colonies adjust.
I don't recommend Coloklysis. FOS feeds yeast. It doesn't work like the charlatans promise it will. It doesn't just feed the goodies, it feeds everybody and it's incredibly rich. Taking lots of FOS will give you a bowel imbalance. And to take a fiber supplement that is already mixed up with a laxative gives you no control over the amount of laxative you take, so that if you get diarrhea there's no way to adjust things. Just stop taking it, it's probably the real source of all your problems.
So do the above, plus cal-mag fizz or some other calcium, and a multi-mineral supplement. Whenever you have vein weirdness, figure out whether you're accidentally overdosing on C, or copper (copper pipes, pans, chocolate binge...) and if not, take the RDA for copper, nickel and tin for a couple weeks. |

Hi Shelley!
I stopped the Coloklysis and will add the BRAT diet, this has been on and off for about a month and a half.
Do you have any thoughts on the spotting? What might be causing it or something I can do?
As always, thank you

| you were taking both triphala AND cascara sagrada. That could cause spotting because of the contractions they force on you. Check your diet for highly estrogenic foods such as raspberry tea. |
